Terms of Service

The rules that govern your FlowHost account, orders, and use of our infrastructure.

Last updated: October 2, 2026

1. Agreement & Overview

By registering an account, placing an order, or using any services provided by FlowHost, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Acceptable Use Policy. If you are using our services on behalf of an organization or business, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that entity to this agreement.

2. Server Provisioning & Delivery

FlowHost provides virtual private servers (VPS) running Windows Server and several Linux distributions, as well as web hosting (coming soon). Server provisioning typically completes within a few minutes up to 1 hour after payment confirmation. Delivery times may vary depending on resource availability. In rare cases requiring additional security checks or custom allocation, provisioning may take slightly longer.

3. Billing, Overdue Payments & Data Deletion

Services are billed in advance according to your selected billing cycle. If an invoice remains unpaid on its due date, your server will enter a grace period. Unpaid services will be suspended 3 days after the invoice due date. If payment is not received within 7 days following the due date, the service will be permanently canceled, and all server data, virtual disks, and configurations will be completely and irreversibly deleted from our infrastructure.

4. Strict No-Refund Policy & Chargebacks

All payments and service purchases made to FlowHost are strictly non-refundable once hardware resources have been deployed, except where required by applicable law. If we are unable to deliver your service, your payment will be refunded in full. Opening an unauthorized payment dispute or chargeback with Stripe, PayPal, or your bank will result in the immediate suspension of all active servers and permanent termination of your account.

5. Account Security & Customer Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for securing your account credentials, root passwords, and SSH keys. You accept full responsibility for all bandwidth usage, data, and activities conducted through your server instances. You must notify support immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

6. Service Availability & Backups Disclaimer

FlowHost strives to maintain maximum network availability and host node stability. However, FlowHost does not guarantee uninterrupted service and is not liable for operational downtime. Customers are solely responsible for creating and maintaining their own offsite backups of all critical files, databases, and server configurations.

7. Acceptable Use & Zero-Tolerance Abuse Policy

Hosted services must be used in accordance with all applicable laws. FlowHost maintains a zero-tolerance policy for network abuse, outbound attacks, hosting illegal content, malware distribution, or unauthorized port scanning. Engaging in abusive behavior will result in immediate service termination without notice, refund, or data retrieval access.

8. Fair Use

Cryptocurrency mining is prohibited on FlowHost services. Sustained 100% CPU usage that affects other customers on shared infrastructure is not permitted and may result in throttling, suspension, or termination of the affected service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FlowHost's total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the services is limited to the amount you paid to FlowHost for the current billing period of the affected service, except where mandatory law says otherwise.

10. Cancellation

You may cancel a service immediately or at the end of the current billing cycle from your FlowHost dashboard. Immediate cancellation permanently deletes the server and all its data. End-of-cycle cancellation keeps the server running until the paid period ends. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for any unused portion of a paid billing period.

11. Windows Licensing

Windows Server VPS instances are provided without a Windows license. Customers must provide their own valid Microsoft Windows Server license that permits use on shared hosting under Microsoft's licensing terms (for example, licenses with Software Assurance under the Flexible Virtualization Benefit). Customers are solely responsible for ensuring their use complies with Microsoft's licensing requirements.

12. Changes to These Terms

FlowHost may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify customers by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service and any contractual disputes or claims arising from your use of FlowHost shall be governed by, construed, and enforced exclusively in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights.
